Intellectual property (IP) is critical to our thriving innovation ecosystem and bolsters Kentucky’s growing economy by incentivizing investment in knowledge and inventions that drive social and economic impact. Through strong public-private partnerships with KY Innovation, the Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation, the Kentucky Intellectual Property Alliance, and many others, the Commonwealth of Kentucky is creating an equitable intellectual property ecosystem that encourages and protects ideas generating the most social good from industry leaders, inventors, creators, and entrepreneurs.
